Itinerary

Pick-up & Start of the Tour

The tour begins with pick-up from the main tourist areas of Lanzarote. Once all participants are on board, the journey heads towards the south of the island, an area characterized by dramatic volcanic landscapes shaped by eruptions that occurred almost 300 years ago.

Timanfaya National Park – Route of the Volcanoes
Timanfaya National Park – Route of the Volcanoes

The first and most important stop is Timanfaya National Park, also known as the Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains), one of the most iconic natural attractions of Lanzarote.
Here, you will experience the famous Route of the Volcanoes, a guided bus route through a surreal landscape of lava fields, craters, and solidified magma. This protected area showcases the raw power of nature and the lasting impact of the volcanic eruptions that transformed the island in the 18th century.
Inside the park, you will also witness geothermal demonstrations, where heat from beneath the surface is still active today. These demonstrations highlight how close magma remains to the surface, making this one of the most fascinating volcanic environments in the world.

Optional Camel Ride
Optional Camel Ride

During the tour, there is the possibility to enjoy a camel ride across the volcanic terrain surrounding Timanfaya (optional, not included).
This unique experience allows you to explore the lava landscapes from a different perspective, following traditional paths historically used in the area.

The tour continues towards the village of Yaiza, where there will be a lunch stop (approx. 1 hour).
Please note: • Lunch is not included in the tour price • The stop is not at El Diablo Restaurant inside Timanfaya National Park • You can choose freely whether to eat at the restaurant or bring your own food

La Geria – Wine Region & Tasting
La Geria – Wine Region & Tasting

After lunch, the journey continues to La Geria, the most important wine-producing region of Lanzarote.
This area is famous for its unique cultivation method: vines are planted in volcanic ash within circular stone walls that protect them from the wind and help retain moisture. This creates a distinctive landscape found nowhere else in the world.
Here, you will visit a local winery and enjoy a small tasting (shot) of local wine, discovering the flavors produced under these extreme volcanic conditions. Wines from La Geria hold a Denomination of Origin and are among the most valued in the Canary Islands.
