Have you ever tried to express your creativity in an artisanal ceramics workshop?
This is definitely the most unique experience you can have here in Zakynthos!
You will spend almost 3 hours together with Dyonisia, the best and most famous ceramist in Zakynthos.
You will visit the shop and, once in the workshop, Dyonisia will teach you the basic techniques for working with clay
In the countryside of Zakynthos, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees, you will create with your own hands the most beautiful souvenirs to take home.
During this experience you will create a Zante turtle and a second personalized object such as a bowl or a small plate. Depending on your inspiration, you will choose the shape, style and different decorations.
During the time spent in the ceramic workshop, Dyonisia is always happy to offer you a refreshing drink, tea or coffee.
Important: Your ceramics will remain to dry under the sun and then Dyonisia will fire, glaze and paint them. They will be ready out three (3) days after the lesson, depending on weather. After 3 days you can collect your personal creations or have them sent by Dyonisia directly to your country home.

Passerete quasi 3 ore assieme a Dyonisia, la ceramista più brava e famosa di Zante.
Visiterete il negozio e, una volta nel laboratorio, Dyonisia vi insegnerà le tecniche di base per lavorare l’argilla.
Nella campagna di Zante,circondati dalle vigne e da ulivi secolari, creerete con le vostre mani i più bei souvenir da porteare a casa.
Durante questa esperienza creerete una tartaruga di Zante e un secondo oggetto personalizzato come una ciotola o un piccolo piatto.
A seconda della vostra ispirazione sceglierete voi la forma, lo stile e le diverse decorazioni.
Durante il tempo passato nel laboratorio di ceramica, Dyonisia è sempre lieta di offrirvi una bevanda rinfrescante, un the o un caffè.
Importante: Le vostre creazioni rimarranno ad asciugare al sole e poi saranno cotte e smaltate e dipinte da Dyonisia. Le vostre ceramiche saranno pronte per voi tre (3) giorni dopo la lezione tenendo conto dei tempi di asciugatura.
Dopo 3 giorni potete ritirare le vostre personali creazioni oppure farvele spedire da Dyonisia direttamente a casa vostra.
Dyonisia is currently the best creator of handcrafted pottery on the island of Zakynthos.
Dyonisia Avouri studied academic painting and design with teachers Maria Roussea, Nikos Christoforakis and Tasos Rigas. She later worked in ceramic workshops in Athens to gain experience and learn new techniques. In 1996 he was in Zakynthos where he opened his ceramic studio.
